Aron Stevens (Damien Sandow in WWE) has apparently retired from the pro wrestling business.
During Saturday night’s NWA ‘Alwayz Ready’ pay-per-view event, Trevor Murdoch defeated Aron Stevens in what was billed as Stevens’ final match.
During a post-match interview, Stevens told May Valentine that he’s been a huge fan of pro wrestling since he was a young kid. He added that he wished he had won a World Title so he could carry it to Killer Kowalski’s grave. Stevens ended his promo by saying pro wrestling doesn’t love him back and he needs to put his health and future first. As of this writing, there is no word on if this is a work.
