It was reported earlier this week that Asuka is ready to return once WWE has a plan in place for her. There had been rumors she could be back in January for the Royal Rumble, but that didn’t happen.
The former Raw Women’s Champion hasn’t wrestled since last July at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view as she was placed on the sidelines with a shoulder injury. Dave Meltzer later confirmed that Asuka has been medically cleared to return to the ring.
