Things haven’t been going all that well for Asuka as of late. She and Alexa Bliss lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at Crown Jewel. She was pinned in a triple threat match on this past Monday’s episode of RAW. And lately, she’s been teasing that a character change could be coming.
When she wrestled in Japan, she went by the ring name “Kana.” As a wrestler, Kana was steeped in the Japanese Puroresu style and was among the hardest strikers in the world. Asuka has continued to tease that a return to her “Kana” days might be coming in a recent social media post.
Taking to Twitter, Asuka posted a photo of herself in her old makeup with the caption, “As I crawl a cracked and broken path.” You can see the original post below:
