Thanks to Chuck Carroll for sending us the following:
I wanted to pass along info for an event Austin Aries is hosting next Tuesday in the Washington, DC area.
He’ll be signing copies of his book, “Food Fight: My Plant-Powered Journey from the Bingo Halls to the Big Time,” and talking about how eating a vegan diet helps him perform in the ring. He’ll also give fans an idea of how they can improve their own health and performance by changing what’s on their plate.
He may even go heel and cut a promo on Ronald McDonald or Colonel Sanders!
Fans will have an opportunity to participate in a question and answer session moderated by wrestling journalist Chuck Carroll aka “The Weight Loss Champion” who lost 265 pounds after once tipping the scales at 420.
The bottom line is this… Aries turned 40 this year and is still wrestling at a high level as the current Impact champion. So you have to figure he’s on to something. And if you’re a fan of sports-entertainment, you’re going to have one hell of a story to tell after this.
The event is part of Barnard Medical Center’s “Conversation and a Movie” series.
