Last month, Austin Aries’ exit from IMPACT Wrestling was the talk of the professional wrestling community. Aries dropped the IMPACT World Title to Johnny Impact at “Bound For Glory” and no-sold the finish. After being pinned, Aries got right back up, left to the back, flipped off the crowd as he left, and also yelled at Don Callis on commentary.
It has since been reported that Aries’ exit from “Bound For Glory” was a work, and the promotion is actually happy with Aries and would like to have him back soon. Now, after weeks of resting his body and nursing minor injuries, Aries’ in-ring return has been confirmed.
He will defend his World Series Wrestling Championship against Flip Gordon on November 25th in Australia. Gordon took to Twitter and announced the match-up. It will be the first time they have shared the ring together in their careers:
