Impact Wrestling World Champion Brian Cage is not at this weekend’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings. As previously reported, Cage suffered a back injury at last Sunday’s “Rebellion” pay-per-view event and that is preventing him from appearing at the tapings tonight, tomorrow, and the “Code Red” event on Sunday.
Jim Mitchell was backstage at Friday night’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Philadelphia, PA. Also, at least one other ECW alumnus is set to appear this weekend.
Impact Wrestling has added Tommy Dreamer vs. Sami Callihan to the “Code Red” event that will stream live this Sunday on their new “Impact Plus” platform.
