Matt Sydal (Evan Bourne in WWE) is said to be doing “okay” following an injury scare at EVOLVE 139. Sydal had numbness in his arm and there was concern that he may have suffered a neck injury. We hope to have more shortly.
Josh Briggs defeated Austin Theory to win the EVOLVE Championship at EVOLVE 139 on Saturday night. The title change had been planned for sometime. We reported several weeks ago here on eWn that Theory signed a deal with NXT and he finished up with EVOLVE over the weekend.
