As we previously reported here on eWn, AEW is expected to announce its new Saturday show, Collision, at the Warner Bros. Discovery upfronts next week.
AEW President Tony Khan also announced this past Wednesday that he will be making a “huge announcement” on next week’s episode of Dynamite.
On the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that AEW has signed a new television deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, similar to the situation from 2020. That year, AEW announced a contract that extended all the way to the end of 2023.
According to the report, the new deal will keep AEW exclusive to WBD and all AEW material (excluding ROH) will air on WBD platforms.
It’s unknown what the length of the agreement is or how much the value of the deal is or whether it includes streaming or not. That will all be revealed next Wednesday, if not sooner.
AEW Collision will air live on Saturdays from 8-10 PM ET on TNT.
