It appears that yet another WWE Superstar has suffered an injury!
Multiple sources are reporting that Alberto Del Rio is dealing with some sort of injury to his lower back. Del Rio worked the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view match and also had a match against Kalisto on the same pay-per-view. He was also involved in a beatdown of Roman Reigns before he officially entered the match.
Del Rio didn’t wrestle on RAW but was with Sheamus and Rusev during the main event. He wasn’t backstage at Tuesday night’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings so it appears the injury occurred at the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
WWE has two live events in Chattanooga, TN and Tupelo, MS this weekend and Del Rio has been advertised for those live events. We’ll have to wait and see if he wrestles.
