ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that the reason WWE Diva Nikki Bella didn’t appear on Monday’s WWE RAW broadcast was due to health concerns pertaining to her neck injury. According to the site, Nikki met with several doctors recently and was told that even an accidental bump could set her recovery back. The original RAW plans called for her to take part in a non-wrestling role to set up the Divas tag-team match at WrestleMania 32.
As of now, Nikki is scheduled to meet with doctors once again in July. At that time, she will undergo a CAT scan to determine whether the bone in her neck has fused.
Also, based on the severity of her neck injury, Nikki was told that a full-time return to the ring is highly unlikely. She is said to be hopeful that she’ll be able to work part-time but won’t know if that’s possible until the CAT scan takes place in July.
