Backstage News & Notes For Tonight’s AEW Revolution Pay-Per-View Event

According to a report from Fightful, AEW held a large meeting yesterday and one of the main matches on the card has been changed numerous times. Many talents who are not featured on AEW Revolution were present for the meeting.

Thunder Rosa is not suffering from an injury and is good to go for tonight.

Sw3rve the Realest is not expected to be part of Revolution but his debut is imminent.

It is believed that tonight we will see “further development” to the story that will lead to Jeff Hardy’s AEW debut, as the wrestler himself admitted he’s joining the company. Jeff is expected to be backstage at Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite TV tapings.

Lastly, it’s been reported that Christian Cage’s two month absence from in ring competition wasn’t due to an injury. While he continued appearing as a manager-veteran figure for Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, his last match before Friday was on December 29th. Following that match, he missed two months before beating Ethan Page this past Friday on AEW Rampage, qualifying for tonight’s Ladder match.
