According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW is delaying their “Double Or Nothing” announcement due to the coronavirus. As of now, the company is holding off on announcing an official date for the show. It was originally scheduled to take place on May 23rd.
AEW could always run an empty arena show like what WWE has been doing with their TV tapings and WrestleMania 36. They also have the option of postponing it.
If they opt to go with an empty arena, it is unknown if Las Vegas would even allow that as most of their arenas are currently closed. Of course, a lot can change between now and May 23rd so the company is holding off on announcing anything right now.
