AEW announced today that they’ve signed a multi-year deal with Paul Wight, formerly known as Big Show.
Big Show was seen as recently as January 4th on the Legends Night edition of WWE Raw.
Wight will have an extensive role within AEW, and on top of his return to the ring, he will serve as a commentator on AEW’s newest show, AEW Dark: Elevation.
PWinsider.com reported that the reason why Big Show departed from WWE was due to them not being able to come to terms on a new deal financially. Thus, his contract expired last month.
