As we reported earlier this week here on eWn, Big Swole and AEW have mutually agreed to part ways.
According to a report from Fightful, Swole’s contract with AEW was always expected to expire in November and both parties simply decided not to renew it.
Swole has been very open about her battle with Crohn’s Disease and has missed several AEW events this year. She hasn’t wrestled since September and didn’t appear at many of the TV tapings. The report notes that there isn’t any heat between the two sides and things ended on very good terms.
Additionally, AEW has a “wave of contracts” that will be expiring in the next few months.
