Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the special live event, Starrcade, drew 8000 fans. This is much better than what typical house shows are doing from a numbers standpoint. The show was a success for WWE as live event business has been down as of late.
It was also a success for WWE as a program that aired on their streaming service because it was the most-watched show of the week on the WWE Network.
