During last week’s WWE NXT Injury Report, it was announced that Kacy Catanzaro suffered a leg injury during her match with Xia Li. According to a report from Dave Meltzer, the leg injury was done as an apparent angle. He said, “It’s not like she’s 100%, but she’s fine, OK.”
With that being said, Catanzaro was wearing a knee brace for the match with Xia Li, but she still performed all of her high spots.
While WWE says Catanzaro is not medically cleared to compete, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Of course, the NXT Injury Report is a mix of reality and storyline.
