As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Luke Harper underwent successful knee surgery earlier this week. The belief is that he suffered a torn ACL. The feeling is that WWE is not reporting on the injury like they normally would, due to the nature of Harper’s character. He’ll be out for 6-9 months.
Also, WWE is reportedly having second thoughts in regards to the booking of Braun Strowman. Part of this was due to the reaction to his recent match with Dean Ambrose. Strowman was said to be a lock to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but the company was said to be considering other options this week. The original plan was for Strowman to win on Sunday, and that would lead to a Summerslam match with Brock Lesnar.
