According to a report from Fightful, Natalya was the person to heavily pushed for the Tag-Team Turmoil match at WrestleMania 37 (Night One). As many of you know, the women’s Tag-Team Turmoil match was a very late addition to the card. The team that won the match (Natalya & Tamina Snuka) went on to face Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 37 (Night Two).
According to sources, Natalya reportedly pushed for the match to take place at WrestleMania 37 so more women on the roster could get an opportunity to work WWE’s biggest pay-per-view of the year. WWE’s original plan was to have a No. 1 contender’s match on the WrestleMania edition of SmackDown and the winners would go on to face Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania 37 (Night Two). With Natalya going to WWE officials and submitting her idea, the Tag-Team Turmoil match was moved to WrestleMania 37 (Night One), thus allowing more women to be featured on WrestleMania 37. This meant that Lana, Naomi, Mandy Rose, Dana Brooke, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Billie Kay and Carmella all got to appear at WrestleMania.
