Backstage News On Roman Reigns’ New WWE Contract & Future Dates

According to several local advertisements for some upcoming WWE live events and TV tapings, Roman Reigns is not being advertised for very many shows past the end of June.

As of this writing, Reigns is not currently advertised on WWE.com for any TV tapings or live events following the June 24th episode of SmackDown and that continues until the last WWE live event listed on September 30th.

It should be noted that Reigns is being advertised for WWE Money in the Bank on July 2nd and WWE SummerSlam on July 30th. He is also advertised for the Clash at the Castle event on September 3rd, two live events on October 1st and 2nd in Saskatchewan, and Survivor Series on November 26th. So it appears he’ll be working mainly “go-home” TV tapings and pay-per-view events.

Of course, WWE has been known to false advertise as evidenced by the recent Usos vs. RK-Bro title unification match that had been promoted for WrestleMania: Backlash and never wound up taking place. Additionally, Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and others were advertised for WWE’s post WrestleMania 38 live events and they didn’t wind up appearing.

We reported yesterday here on eWn that Reigns recently signed a new WWE deal and will be working “far less dates” than his previous contract called for.
