WWE President Nick Khan said in an interview with Colin Cowherd this week that Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey would be returning to WWE in the near future. Rousey hasn’t been seen since WrestleMania 35.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Rousey’s WWE contract was set to expire last week.
Meltzer wrote, “Rousey’s contract expired originally this past week. It’s possible they froze it from when she asked to take time off. The impression we had is she was always coming back for the planned Los Angeles WrestleMania which was supposed to be this year, but obviously that didn’t happen.”
