Dave Meltzer noted on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Shane McMahon is not officially working as a producer or an agent for WWE.
While he was backstage at the Royal Rumble PPV event and did help with the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match, he doesn’t have a role behind the scenes with the company as Shane is usually not around these days.
It was also noted that Chris Park (Abyss), Jamie Noble, and Lance Storm were the producers of the match that also had input from WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman
McMahon hasn’t been seen on television since October where he lost a “Loser Leaves WWE” Ladder Match to Kevin Owens back in October. Stay tuned for updates on his future.
