As seen during last week’s episode of Rampage, RUSH made his All Elite Wrestling in-ring debut during the Royal Rampage battle royal match.

According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plan was to have RUSH team with Andrade to face off against Penta Oscuro and Fenix.

Fenix and several others were said to have been “ill” and weren’t able to appear. Due to this, AEW President Tony Khan decided to put Penta and RUSH in the Royal Rampage instead. Andrade and Fenix were not backstage at the show.

Tony Khan wanted to put the original tag-team match on AEW Dynamite, but neither Fenix nor Andrade were cleared in time. The match is still expected to take place sooner rather than later.
