We reported last week here on eWn that WWE held tryouts in Orlando, FL. Some of the names spotted at the tryouts included current ROH Women’s Champion Rok-C, Notorious Mimi, the Renegade Twins and others.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, D-Von Dudley’s twins Terrence and Terrell Hughes were also part of the tryouts. Both men are 26 years old and have been wrestling since they were teenagers. The two men have had matches in both AEW and TNA. Of course, D-Von Dudley currently works as a producer for WWE.
According to reports, there was “a ton of talent” in Orlando, FL for the tryouts and many of them were offered deals. While some were offered regular developmental deals, nine of them received tryout deals. For those unaware, a “tryout deal” is a 90-day contract where wrestlers come to train at the WWE Performance Center. WWE officials will then decide on whether to offer them a multi-year deal once the 90 days are up.
