Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that while WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon is still hands-on, he’s distant these days.
It was noted that McMahon is rarely, if ever at SmackDown shows between Thanksgiving and the February 5th episode. Bruce Prichard, who is the Executive Director of SmackDown, has assumed his position at Gorilla for those shows.
There’s no word on how much input Prichard has on the final product.
Regarding Raw, McMahon was around “approximately half the time.” It was noted that McMahon is said to have been exceptionally private of late.
