We recently reported here on eWn that “The Road Dogg” Brian “BG” James was stepping down from the WWE SmackDown! Live creative team and would be taking a break from WWE. This took place right after Wrestlemania 35. There was talk at that time that he was extremely frustrated that the scripts he and other writers were writing for SmackDown! Live were constantly being changed by Vince McMahon. Also, he was being forced to fly from his home in Pensacola, FL to Stamford, CT to help with the scripts. James was reportedly “feeling so much pressure” during his time on WWE creative that he needed time off. The same goes for many others these days.
Whenever James decides to return to WWE, there is talk that he will work for Triple H in some capacity, possibly in WWE NXT.
