During Sunday night’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, Rey Mysterio was wearing a mask that promoted Victoria beer. The commentary team even mentioned that he had a new sponsorship deal with them.
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE set up the deal with the company and they wanted Mysterio to be the face of the sponsorship.
If Mysterio had set up the deal on his own, he would have had to drop it last year with WWE’s new edict on third parties.
