The real reason WWE didn’t use Becky Lynch at this past April’s WrestleMania 37 event is now known.
At the time, it was reported WWE had plans in place for her at the show by interrupting a talking segment with Bayley. That didn’t happen though.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE made the decision not to use Lynch because she had not signed a new contract with the company at the time.
Also, she wasn’t quite ready to get back in the ring yet, and WWE didn’t want her to be back on TV too soon. She has since signed a new contract and been training at the Performance Center.
