Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that, in regards to the rumors of WWE signing Pentagon Jr. and Fenix, those are not true. The pair are currently the MLW Tag Team Champions and are still under contract with Lucha Underground.
Pentagon Jr. and Fenix aren’t able to sign with any other promotion at this time. Once Lucha Underground wraps up their fourth season, however, they might get the opportunity to pursue other opportunities. That doesn’t necessarily mean WWE, however. They could also sign with another promotion such as AAA or remain with Lucha Underground.
At a recent PCW Ultra event, Pentagon Jr. had this to say in regards to the rumors of him signing with WWE, following a successful PCW Ultra World Title defense:
“Respect that I am the PCW Champion and no one is going to take that from me. Thank you very much! And before I forget. I am not going anywhere. Penta will be in PCW for many, more years.”
