We have the latest scoop on WWE’s handling of the COVID-19 positive case, along with an update on today’s Television Taping cancellation due to the coronavirus case. John Pollock of POST Wrestling confirmed the cancellation of the TV taping and WWE has rescheduled for Wednesday, June 17th (tomorrow).
Bryan Alvarez from F4W reported the cancellation came about so that WWE could perform an appropriate COVID-19 testing to everyone (nose testing), rather than a simple temperature check. Ryan Satin from Pro Wrestling Sheet stated that “talent, production crew and employees who were on-site” are now going to be tested for the coronavirus. Once the results are confirmed, WWE is reportedly planning to resume its TV taping schedule.”
From two sources – WWE tapings will not be taking place on Tuesday.
Was told by one they are hoping to resume on Wednesday.
