Dave Meltzer noted on today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials have yet to make any definitive plans on the match card for the TLC PPV.
As of Monday afternoon, “there was nothing definitive” planned for TLC and most of the card was up in the air. It was noted that the exception is WWE Champion Drew McIntyre vs. Braun Strowman despite Strowman not qualifying for the #1 contender tournament finals.
The belief is there will be an angle done next week to get Strowman declared as the #1 contender.
Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan is still “scheduled for the event,” but there is also talk that the match could be pushed to January’s Royal Rumble event.
