Fightful Select reports there has been a long working plan for WWE NXT to emphasize the Cruiserweight division as well as the title more on TV.
Per the report, NXT officials have been high on Kushida ever since he came in and the roster around him.
He will work a non-title match against Kyle O’Reilly on tonight’s NXT. The report states fans can “expect NXT to integrate more storyline, some bigger names, and angles into the Cruiserweight division, especially this Summer.”
