As reported earlier this week here on eWn, Paul Heyman had a lot more influence over this week’s episode of RAW. WWE has also dropped their rule of having no wrestling during commercial breaks. On this week’s broadcast, there were no 2 out of 3 falls matches, elimination matches or run-ins forcing matches to be restarted. Those were the “tricks” WWE had been using to explain why the match was stopped during commercials.

According to reports, the decision to already drop the “no wrestling during commercial breaks” rule came from Paul Heyman. He was reportedly able to get Vince McMahon to agree to allow wrestling during commercial breaks. While Vince did make some “minor tweaks” to the program, it was said to be “largely a Heyman show.”
