According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Daniel Bryan was always scheduled to be part of the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match even though his ongoing feud with Sami Zayn was expected to continue after WrestleMania 36. WWE had already made the decision to have Daniel Bryan in the ladder match before Sami Zayn opted to not work the WWE TV tapings due to the coronavirus.
As of this writing, it remains to be seen if WWE will go back to the Daniel Bryan vs. Sami Zayn feud after Zayn feels safe enough to return.
