As seen last week on RAW, Seth Rollins returned for the first time since his injury and delivered a promo in the ring with Corey Graves. It was said backstage that his promo wasn’t well received and that many thought he didn’t deliver as they wanted. There was reportedly also some frustration in that Seth didn’t keep the crowd engaged and allowed them to go off in tangents exhibited by the CM Punk chants.
In addition, according to Ringside News, talks have been ramping up on a potential backup plan in the case that Seth can’t compete to full capacity. He’s been meeting with a specialist every other week to determine his status and so far, things are looking good for him. However, if there’s a case where he’s medically cleared but isn’t 100 percent, Seth would have big brawl with Triple H as opposed to having a formal match. Finn Balor is also a name that is being tossed around as a potential replacement as he’s due to return some time later this month.
