According to sources, the original plans for Monday night’s WWE RAW TV tapings called for Asuka to pick her WrestleMania 34 opponent. For one reason or another, the segment was cut from the show. As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Asuka vs. SmackDown! Live Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax vs. RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss were the women’s matches originally planned for WrestleMania 34.

It’s likely that Asuka’s choice will be held of until after the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view event on Sunday, March 11th. Charlotte will be defending her title against Ruby Riott at the WWE Fastlane pay-per-view event.
