As we’ve noted, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced a “stay-at-home” order today in the midst of the coronavirus outbreak. The order takes effect Thursday, April 2 at midnight and will last for 30 days. As a result, this will make it hard for WWE to do tapings for Raw and SmackDown at their Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
According to a report from WrestleVotes, given the new news, WWE is actually considering taking a break after WrestleMania 36 this weekend.
“Rumors around the PC last week were that if the state of FL issued a Stay Home order, which happened today, WWE would reconsider taking a break post Mania. The RAW after is shot. I’ve been told if they are pausing for a while, some footage shot won’t be aired. TBD at this point.”
