According to Dave Meltzer on the latest episode of the Wrestling Observer Live, the WWE Universal Championship along with Braun Strowman will be discussed in a meeting with the company’s officials today. Meltzer mentioned that WWE hopes that Strowman can be ready to go in July before the “Great Balls Of Fire” PPV.
The feeling is that if Braun will only be out for a month, then the Universal Title match will not have to be held off. If Strowman is not able to return in time, Finn Balor or Seth Rollins with be placed in his position for “Great Balls Of Fire” and Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar would be pushed back until SummerSlam.
