As we saw on AEW Dynamite this past Wednesday, The Lucha Bros reunited with PAC to reform The Death Triangle to do battle with Eddie Kingston, The Butcher and The Blade. WrestleZone has more details on the contract status involving Penta El Zero and Rey Fenix.
The Lucha Bros signed new AEW contracts after their original deals expired back on August 31st. Despite their contract situation, the team were never in danger of leaving the company and had no desire of doing so.
Penta is currently out of action (temporarily) due to a calf injury, but will be returning to the ring very soon. Meanwhile, Rey Fenix will challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at “New Year’s Smash – Night 1” on December 30th.
