According to a report by Wrestling Inc, Carlito is currently working a “three week trial run” with WWE, as MVP was reportedly the man responsible for Carlito being brought in and pushed as either an in-ring competitor or a backstage producer. Triple H was also said to be the man who gave the approval for Carlito to return to WWE.
The idea is that Carlito may be signing a full-term contract with the company following his trial run. As we saw last night on RAW, Carlito teamed up with Jeff Hardy and defeated Elias and Jaxson Ryker in a tag match.
Also, Rhea Ripley may be getting called up to the main roster very soon (as anticipated). Although she was not backstage for Monday Night RAW and isn’t scheduled to be on SmackDown, things may change. WWE has not made a final determination on which brand Ripley will end up on, but the general feeling is that she will be moved from NXT to either RAW or SmackDown between now and the post WrestleMania edition of RAW or SmackDown.
