Backstage Note On Fans Returning To Future WWE Live Events, Extreme Rules

Seems as though we may be seeing the return of the WWE Universe to future WWE live events, including Extreme Rules (in July), very soon. The Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast (via Twitter) is reporting that live fan attendance may began as early as July 16th, July 18th and 19th, respectively. They tweeted the following,

“July’s return with fans is looking bigger than anticipated…#July16 #July18 #July19”

The Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast has broken wrestling news in the past, including that NXT would be permanently moving to Tuesdays.

According to Pwinsider, fans were originally expected to return on July 18th starting with Extreme Rules. If you go by the dates that are suggested by both websites, WWE is expecting to have live fans in attendance at the July 16th edition of SmackDown, the July 18th Extreme Rules pay-per-view, and the July 19th episode of RAW.

Keep in mind, WWE has not yet confirmed the plans to return to touring with live, ticketed fans in attendance.
