According to a report provided by Fightful Select, we have an update on wrestler contracts that may be expiring or being renewed following the company’s hiatus. ROH had went on hiatus due to COVID-19 and have since returned to producing shows. Having said that, ROH has taken care of their wrestlers and have paid them “exceptionally well” during the ongoing pandemic.
All wrestlers were paid in full back in April 2020 when the shows were initially shut down when the pandemic began. On the other hand, WWE has not extended their contracts with their Superstars. WWE still has time to do this and will consider this option, especially for those Superstars who have been either injured or listed as inactive.
