Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, WWE shifted their plans last year by moving WrestleMania 36 from Raymond James Stadium to the Performance Center and holding the event over the course of two nights rather than one. Now that everything is very slowly getting back to normal in the United States, the question was raised as to whether or not WWE will continue holding two-night based WrestleMania events for WrestleMania 38 and beyond.

According to the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer says that WWE “right now” is planning to shift the event back to a one night only show starting with WrestleMania 38 (2022). WrestleMania 38 is scheduled for April 3, 2022 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Meanwhile, WrestleMania 39 is scheduled for April 2, 2023 in Inglewood, California at SoFi Stadium.

No official word yet by WWE as to what the plans will be heading into the 2022 WrestleMania season, but this seems to be the rumored plan as of now.
