UPDATE: Morale in TNA is said to be “very good” following today’s meeting regarding the moving of TV tapings back to Orlando. The company presented the newly-announced “Action Never Ends” as a way for talent to create deeper characters for themselves that can be spotlighted in a way that isn’t possible with limited TV time.

Sources close to Universal Studios report that TNA hasn’t yet finalized where the tapings will be held and that there are several potential soundstages. The old Impact Zone soundstage will not be used.

Because the change in tapings has caused live events for the next few months to go dry, talent has been reaching out to indy promoters to try and book indy dates, which of course is tricky since TNA won’t let their talent work for promotions that will air them on iPPV or DVD, leaving them in dark matches or segments. However, house shows should pick back up after the European tour.

ORIGINAL: TNA Wrestling officials held a talent meeting this afternoon in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Maverik Center—site of tonight’s iMPACT! Wrestling tapings—informing them the United States television tour will conclude on Nov. 7 in Cincinnati, Ohio in Cincinnati Gardens.

The company will return to its former base, Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, for television tapings on Nov. 21-23. Dates at the venue are being finalized for December.

While the television tapings will be held at Universal Studios Florida, is is said that the events will not emanate from the same sound stage that housed the Impact Zone. The sound stand stage will smaller length-wise but be a wider space on the inside.

The Dec. 27 taping scheduled for the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been canceled. There will be monthly tapings in Orlando over three nights, carrying things through the end of January.
