According to sources, the announcement that WWE NXT Superstar Lars Sullivan suffered a “broken jaw” is just a storyline angle.
WWE reportedly wants to sell the idea that Sullivan is so tough that he broke his jaw early on during his match with Aleister Black but kept going. WWE’s creative plans behind the angle were done to “protect his mystique”. The company is keeping him off TV and live events for a while to sell the injury as legit.
