As reported last week here on eWn, BJ Whitmer took to Twitter and announced that he was divorcing Kelly Klein. Whitmer said she “breached the trust in our relationship by stepping outside of our marriage.” According to a report in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Joey Mercury is said to be the one she was involved with. For those unaware, Mercury’s Twitter account was suspended after he made some disparaging comments about Whitmer.
Mercury reportedly contacted several ROH wrestlers following his departure from the company. He was reportedly trying to get them out of their contracts and would represent them in order to play WWE and AEW against each other and earning them more money. Several wrestlers wanted no part in that as they felt he was trying to destroy the company.
