Previously, the staff here reported that NXT is set to be seeing a bit of a re-brand. According to reports, Vince McMahon is planning to go in a different direction with the brand. The following quote came from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer that an edict was sent down regarding NXT’s future:
The wording is “no more midgets, no one starting in their 30s, they want people who can be box office attractions and main characters.”

According to a report from WrestleVotes, tensions are running high at the WWE Performance Center ahead of tonight’s NXT broadcast. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful would follow up with a similar statement. You can view those below:

As previously reported here on eWN, NXT recently saw 12 in-ring talent released from the company. Reportedly, Triple H had no say in regards to those decisions. In other NXT news, both Adam Cole and Pete Dunne’s contracts are set to expire at the end of the month.
