According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the current plan is for The Revival to turn into a comedy team. As of this writing, the current booking plans call for a comedy-based team as a spoof of the Fabulous Ones.
With that being said, there are reportedly mixed feelings regarding the idea. There are some who feel the idea “still may get shot down” but Dash Wilder’s trip during his entrance on last week’s SmackDown was apparently the start of the comedy gimmick.
As of this writing, the two have not signed new deals yet. They have several months left on their current contracts.
