According to sources, Paul Heyman was backstage at Monday’s WWE RAW TV tapings at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, MA. Heyman reportedly worked on the Bobby Lashley vs. Roman Reigns segment that opened RAW. He was also behind Lashley’s promo segment. The reason Heyman was working with Lashley and Reigns at RAW is because it is all part of setting up Brock Lesnar’s next challenger.
With that being said, Heyman is not officially a member of the RAW creative team, but he is instead taking on a role similar to what he did during the Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar feud. It should also be noted that Lashley and Heyman were very close when Lashley was working in WWE developmental. Heyman has also always praised Lashley during his MMA career.
