According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE officials are not committing to doing another all-women’s Evolution pay-per-view event this year without Ronda Rousey.
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Rousey’s current WWE status is said to be “up in the air” at this point. There are some rumors that state she will be leaving the company or taking time off after WrestleMania 35. Many expect Becky Lynch to win a “Winner Take All” match at the big pay-per-view event, thus having WWE’s top babyface women’s wrestler defeating both current champions.
As seen in recent weeks, WWE has been reluctant to say whether or not an Evolution 2 pay-per-view event will be taking place. During a recent interview, Stephanie McMahon said they hadn’t announced it yet and wouldn’t say if there would be another one.
For what it’s worth, another WWE Evolution event is not currently on WWE’s schedule as of this writing.
