Thanks to Ranjit Chahal for his help with some of the following newsbits:
— When Kofi Kingston won the US title from Antonio Cesaro on Monday Night RAW, some fans were a bit surprised by the move. The new champion didn’t have a lot of momentum as the company wasn’t exactly building him up. They even left him off of WrestleMania 29. There are talks now that Kingston was given the US title so that he could drop it to the rising Fandango once his feud with Chris Jericho is finished. We’ll see if they do an angle between the two at RAW in London this week.
— In order to promote Fandango and Big E Langston, two guys who are supposedly in their first year with WWE, the company has decided to list the ten best rookies ever.
Brock Lesnar
Undertaker
Goldberg
Alberto Del Rio
The Big Show
Yokozuna
Kurt Angle
Sheamus
Shane McMahon
Tatanka
— Arda Ocal had a very interesting interview with Rob Van Dam at the Cauliflower Alley Club ceremony in Las Vegas last week. When asked about Mick Foley, the former ECW champion changed his tone a little bit, which has led to speculation that there is some backstage heat between the two. He insinuated that Foley didn’t want to work with him. You can watch the interview below:
